Testing, testing, is this thing even on?!?!?

 I've tried to log in and update this blog a few times in the past year. Blogger seems to be having some issues these days. I seriously thought this blog was gone. 

I logged in tonight just for the heck of it, thinking it probably wouldn't work. 

But here I am, drafting the first new post in three or four years. 

I stepped away from this space because everyone seemed to be moving to Instagram and writing longer captions. Now, people seem to be moving towards Substack. 

I'm feeling the call to write longer form pieces again, too. 

I don't know if it will be on this blog, or over on Substack, but I'm just excited to see this is even an option again.
